Donald Richardson is a doctoral candidate in TESOL at the International Education and Lifelong Learning Institute (IELLI) at the University of St Andrews, Scotland. Donald has over 20 years of experience as an English language teacher in Germany where he is the head of English at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology’s (KIT) Language Centre.
Donald has conducted a scoping review which investigated the role of location-based games, the key features and the effectiveness of the innovation for language learning. The study has been published by Research Synthesis in Applied Linguistics.
